Hello all! The Fencing Team at Appalachian State University cordially invites all clubs up the Blue Ridge mountains to the "Mountaineer Spring Open" 2023! This will be a 1-day unsanctioned individual event and we welcome all fencers.

Hello all! The Fencing Team at Appalachian State University cordially invites all clubs up the Blue Ridge mountains to the "Mountaineer Spring Open" 2023! This will be a 1-day unsanctioned individual and team event. All fencers are welcome! Registration fees will be $20 total per participant upon arrival. ALL FORMS OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED! NO $50 OR $100 BILLS WILL BE ACCEPTED! NO REFUNDS! *Any additional events will be another fee of $20. Individual Events Scheduled on 4/15: Mixed Epee - 10:00 am Preregistration closes @ 9:45 am Mixed Foil - 1:00 pm Preregistration closes @ 12:45 pm Mixed Saber - 4:00 pm Preregistration closes @ 3:45 pm Preregistration opens on 1/26/2023. Preregistration closes on 4/13/2023. WHEN: 10 am - 6 pm April 15th-16th WHERE: Lower Level of the Varsity Gym. Appalachian State University 530 Rivers St, Boone, NC 28607 PARKING: DO NOT PARK IN THE EVENT PARKING AREAS this includes convocation center, Hill Street, and Rivers Street parking decks. Must stand clear of strips and/or if the referee asks. DISCOUNTS: We are offering $5 discounts for any fencers who are willing to ref or bring strips/score boxes to use. FOOD & BEVERAGES: No food or drinks are allowed within the Varsity Gym! COVID POLICY: No covid requirements. Masks are preferred, but not allowed.
