North Carolina Junior Olympic Qualifiers

This is the NC Division Qualifying tournament for the Junior Olympics in Oklahoma City Oregon.
NC Division Junior Olympic Qualifiers. Preregistration: $20 Registration fee, $40 event fee. We will take payments in person at check-in. We accept cash and checks. We are unable to accept card payments. No At-the-Door Registration. Preregistration closes 10-11-2026. Scheduled start times may change! A schedule change email will be sent out prior to the tournament start date. The events are not going to change days just the starting times if needed.
Entrants will Need proof of USA Fencing membership and age verification (if the latter has not done through USA Fencing).
Standard armory check of lame, glove, body cords, mask cords, and masks.

Venue: Apex Fencing Academy, 504 East Williams Street, Apex, NC
It is requested that after you drop of fencers and their equipment that you try to park behind the building to increase parking out front for the other businesses.
***NEW RULES FOR THE 2026-2027 SEASON*****
Every division qualifier must be fenced, and at least four fencers must register for it to be held. Events will be cancelled with less than 4 fencers. The number of qualifying spots then scales with the size of the field:
- 4 to 8 fencers: 1 qualifier
- 9 to 16 fencers: 2 qualifiers
- 17 to 32 fencers: 4 qualifiers
- 33 or more fencers: 6 qualifiers
If there are fewer than four the event will not be fenced. We will contact anyone involved in this situation before the day of the event. This will be handled in the email for schedule changes and will go out by Thursday before the event weekend. As stated earlier the events will not change days just start times to maximize available resources.
Refund requests are handled at the discretion of the tournament organizer. Contact the organizer directly for refund inquiries.
