EBFG will be hosting Youth Epee and Foil Summer Camps for young fencers to improve their skills, meet new people and have fun fencing!
Fencers of all levels, beginner or competitive are encouraged to sign up!
Our camp will feature extensive physical conditioning, technical drills, footwork, and bladework. In recent years, EBFG Camps have featured Youth National Champions and Multiple Highly Ranked International Fencers!
Fencers will be able to practice and refine their skills during the bouting session on our newly expanded facility equipped with grounded electric strips.
What to Bring:
Lunch (microwave and fridge available if needed)
Your own fencing gear, 2 working weapons and extra body cords
(fencing equipment will be provided for beginners)
Extra T-shirts
Water Bottle
Wear Athletic Clothes and Shoes
EBFG Summer Camps are directed by Head Coach Maestro Abdul Habek
- Head Coach and Founder of East Bay Fencers Gym, the Bay Area’s Top Fencing Club Since 2001
- Voted 2X Coach of the Year at UC Berkeley for the 2004-2005 and 2017-2018 seasons and Coached the UC Berkeley Fencing Team to multiple National Championship Medals.
- Maestro Abdul is a Nationally Regarded Fencing Coach with Decades of Experience.
- He has Trained Multiple US National Team Epee Fencers, Internationally Ranked Fencers and Multiple National Champions across different events. Many of Maestro Abdul’s students have earned Scholarships to Fence for Prestigious Universities.
Individual Lessons are available after Camp hours for attendees upon request.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:
No refunds for summer camps after July 1st, 2025. Full credit can be used for our other Summer Camp Sessions. Refunds exclude transaction fees.

By registering for the camp, you as a participant, or your parent or guardian for participants under the age of 18, are confirming that you or your parent or guardian have read and are in agreement with the conditions of the USFA and EBFG waiver. By registering for the camp you are accepting of the photo/video release. To opt out, inform the organizers of the camp.
