This a United States Fencing Coaches Association NCDP (Level 2: Assistant Moniteur) sponsored clinic for new coaches, or any coach seeking certification as Level 2 in Foil and Epee. The clinic is an important component of the qualifications for certification for Level 2: Assistant Moniteur. This clinic will give 12 hours of continuing education credits. This is a great clinic for beginner coaches wanting to learn how to teach a fencing class; those: -assisting at fencing clubs (teens 16 and older or adults) -starting a new fencing program -college student coaching fencing at a college club program -teaching fencing in physical education classes at schools -teaching fencing at summer camps -coaches with experience desiring a refresher in teaching basic fencing, or seeking credentials/certification -coaches with experience seeking to teach basics in a different weapon (Foil or Epee) Coach Developers: Nancy Reynolds (Host) - Level 3 Moniteur John Krauss - Level 5 Master Dates: March 11-12, 2023 Host Location: Portland Fencing Center 1037 Forest Avenue Portland, Maine 04103 207-671-8205 Fees for the clinic: $225 - USFCA Members $325 - Non-members Times: Saturday(March 11th): 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 - 1:00 PM) Sunday (March 12th): 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Please check here for any updates on clinic times.
