Welcome to the 16th annual MFC Sleepaway Camp! Under the supervision of Six-Time Olympic Coach Yury Gelman, at the stunning Eagle Hill School in Massachusetts, this camp offers a one-of-a-kind experience with expert coaching in saber and foil. Our state-of-the-art host facility features air-conditioned dorms, sports center, swimming pool, squash courts, soccer fields, billiard room, movie room, and more. Join a community of elite fencers, including Olympic and World Medalists, National and NCAA Champions, and National Team fencers from around the world. With names like Dagmara Wozniak, Monica Aksamit, Elizabeth Tartakovsky, Keeth Smart, Daryl Homer, and Olek Ochocki, you'll be in good company as you reach for your full potential. Don't miss this opportunity to train with the best! Ideal for fencers with at least 1 year of competitive experience ages 11+. Younger fencers will be permitted only with the supervision of their coaches. Location: 242 Old Petersham Rd, Hardwick, MA 01037 Camp includes: Comfortable rooms accommodating 1-2 people, with air conditioning available on a first-come-first-serve basis to the first 120 campers Nourishing meals throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with snacks in the evening; catering to all allergies and dietary restrictions Two Daily fencing practices, focusing on technique, tactics, and sports psychology Engaging team-building activities to enhance collaboration and teamwork Comprehensive instruction from experienced and dedicated staff, with a ratio of 1 staff member to every 5 campers Camp t-shirt, Nurse and Athletic Trainer A camp-wide tournament and award ceremony to showcase skills and celebrate achievements The opportunity to become a certified referee through the New-Referee Seminar, including a practical examination and online test (available for campers aged 10 and above) An exciting day off field trip to Six Flags for an adrenaline-fueled adventure Transportation services to and from camp available at an additional fee, if sufficient requests are received.
