Fencing training Camp for all levels with chess component. 9AM to 3PM daily. $350 Club Members $450 Non Club Members. $150 Daily Rate
The Atlanta Fencers Club Foundation’s Summer Training Camp offers a unique dual-enrichment experience designed to engage both the body and the mind. Over the course of each session, students transition from the physical agility of the fencing strip to the intellectual challenge of the classroom, fostering a well-rounded approach to summer learning and strategy.
The program features five hours of intensive fencing instruction, where fencers of all levels learn and or develop the fundamentals of footwork, blade control, and tournament etiquette. Our coaches focus on conditioning, developing coordination and confidence in a safe, supportive environment, ensuring every student masters their desired levels of "physical chess" while staying active.
Complementing the athletic training is a dedicated hour of Chess and Strategy with our chess master. This immersive hour introduces students to essential vocabulary and movement through interactive lessons. It’s the perfect way for young athletes to sharpen their perspective while on the piste with taking a rewarding break if interested.
Schedule: M-F, 9am-2 Fencing, Motivation and lunch; 2-3PM Chess (Competitive fencers have the option to continue fencing)
Cost: $100/day ($350/week for club members; $450 for Non Club members
