The Ohio State University Open

The Ohio State University Fencing Team welcomes you to THE OSU Open 2025.

Due to concurrently run events, we restrict fencers competing to only one event.

This is a sanctioned tournament and current USA Fencing Memberships will be required for competition. PLEASE make sure your USA Fencing Membership is active for the 2025-26 season at least at the ACCESS level. Check/confirm your USA Fencing membership info HERE..

REGISTRATION FEES:

Registration Fee if registered by midnight 9/13: $55

All others including walk-ins, $70 (Paid at the door)

Payment can be done in person at check-in with card or cash.

WALK-IN POLICY: Fencers who did not register by September 13th and still wish to compete may do so by registering at the door on Saturday for increased fees: Event Fee $70.

Events Capped: Men's Foil 60, Men's Epee 60, Men's Sabre 60

8:30AM Senior Women's Epee

8:30AM Senior Women's Foil

9:45AM Senior Women's Saber

12:30PM Senior Men's Epee

1:45PM Senior Men's Foil

3:00PM Senior Men's Saber

WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT CHECK: We will check safety for masks and gloves for all three weapons. Foil fencers must have a conductive bib. Saber fencers MUST use an 800N glove as per USA Fencing regulation.

FOOD AND DRINK: We ask that all food remains outside of the designated fencing area. Drinks such as water and Gatorade will be permitted.
