Ref Clinic and Bozeman Cup Tournament

Cost is $75. There are scholarships available for BFA fencers.
Saturday starts with reffing Y10,Y12, Y14 tournament at 9:00. Doors open at 8:20. Be there at 8:45 if you intend to ref. Fencers traveling from out of town may arrive for start of class (10-10:45) immediately following kids tournament. Reffing feedback will be offered for kids tournament as well.
Sunday tournament portion of the clinic starts at 9am, doors open at 8.Will will complete epee tournament first, followed by foil and saber.
In order to be certified as a ref, you must complete the clinic, be observed and rated while reffing a tournament, and pass the online exam within a calendar year. You may complete the exam before or after the clinic.
Those who are already certified as refs are encouraged to participate in the clinic for a rule refresher, do not need to complete the exam, and may be eligible for rating increases when being observed at tournament.
