Fencing Fun Week

SPF Fencing Week: June 21st - June 28th

Join Still Point Fencing for a week of fencing activities, starting with a tournament and followed by practice sessions, drills, bouting, and social events. This week offers opportunities for training and community engagement.

Participation in the epee practice sessions and events at SPF from June 23rd to June 28th is free for all visitors.

1. Saturday, June 21st: SPF Tournament (All Day)

1. Sunday, June 22nd: Rest Day

1. Monday, June 23rd: Practice & Club Dinner
2. Practice: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at SPF
3. Followed by optional Club Dinner nearby (Attendees cover their own meal costs).

1. Tuesday, June 24th: Mass Private Lesson Drill
2. Time: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at SPF
3. Focused technical drilling.

1. Wednesday, June 25th: Structured Bouting
2. Time: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at SPF

1. Thursday, June 26th: Video Review & Potluck
2. Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Location TBD)
3. Bring your fencing videos for group analysis.
4. Potluck: Locals, please bring a dish. Visitors, please just join us (no need to bring food).

1. Friday, June 27th: Practice
2. Time: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at SPF

1. Saturday, June 28th: Final Practice
2. Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at SPF

Details:

1. Cost: Practices and SPF-hosted events from June 23-28 are free for visitors. No floor fees for visitors during this period. Tournament fees (June 21) are separate via AskFred.
2. Attendance: All are welcome – SPF members, local fencers, visitors. Invite friends. Feel free to attend any or all sessions.
3. Bring: Fencing kit, water. For Thursday: videos (optional), potluck dish (if local).
4. Out-of-Town Guests: Welcome! We can help coordinate lodging if requested (quality varies). Contact us for assistance.
