USFCA Coaching Clinic

This is an official USFCA Coaching clinic with Maestro Walid Mahran, national Vice President of the USFCA and Rylan Delap, southeast VP for the USFCA, and Tatiana Gitcevich, head coach of Auburn Fencing Club and master degree coach from Russian Federation Sporting School in St. Petersburg. The clinic with focus on foil and epee and will include examinations for assistant moniteur, moniteur, and prevot level coaching certifications. Cost: USFCA Member - $225 Non member - $275 Clinic hours: Saturday 9am - 12pm, 1-4pm, certification exams after 4pm Sunday 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm certification exams Saturday Sunday Morning 9am-12pm 9am – 1pm (for Sunday) • Practice Dynamic Warm up • Footwork Practice • Physical Training Games • Handwork, Target Practice • Private lesson Training – Foil • Organized Bouting/Drills • Competition Dynamic Warmup and stretching • Specific Conditioning tools • Fencing Tactics • Private Lesson Training Foil, Epee • Discussion of class focus over time (varying with competitions, etc) Afternoon (2pm-4pm) • Physical Training Injury Prevention/mitigation • Private Lesson Training - Epee • Organized Bouting • Cool down – static stretching Coaching Certification Exams (will continue until all requested practical exams are complete) Evening (4pm-7pm) Certification Exams Hotel Closest to the Auburn Fencing club: Best Western Auburn/Opelika Inn
