Guiorgie “Gia” Kvaratskhelia has served as the head coach of Notre Dame fencing since 2014 after previously spending eight years on staff as an assistant and associate head coach. A foil specialist, he has established himself as one of the nation’s top collegiate coaches, leading Notre Dame to 7 NCAA team championships and earning repeated National Coach of the Year honors.


Since joining the program, Kvaratskhelia has developed one of the strongest foil programs in the country, producing numerous NCAA champions, All-Americans, and internationally competitive athletes. Prior to Notre Dame, he spent a decade building a nationally recognized fencing program at Kanza Fencing Club.


Known for his strong communication skills and ability to connect with athletes, Kvaratskhelia brings extensive experience in high-level training, athlete development, and competitive preparation to every clinic.'

Harris brings over eight years of experience working in college admissions across a wide range of institutions, including GWU, JHU, Bowdoin, and Regis. This diverse background gives him valuable insight into different admissions environments and processes. In addition, Harris has a strong athletic background as a skilled basketball player and offers extensive experience with athletic recruitment. He has a long history of working closely with students and is known for his ability to connect with them in a meaningful and approachable way.
