OSM Fencing 2023-2024 Club Championship

OSM Fencing is proud to announce the OSM Fencing 2023-2024 Club Championship! This tournament's Y8 and Y10 events are SANCTIONED and requires participating fencers to hold a current CFF license for the 2023-2024 season. The Team events are open unsanctioned and do not require a CFF license.

Y8 & Y10 Men's/Women's Foil

Open Mixed Team Foil & Epee

Schedule:

June 22nd

• Y8 Men's/Women's Foil:

9:30AM (close of check-in)

• Open Mixed Team Epee:

12:00PM (close of check-in)

June 23rd

• Y10 Men's/Women's Foil:

9:30AM (close of check-in)

• Open Mixed Team Foil:

12:00PM (close of check-in)

NOTE: events will be mixed should there be fewer than 6 individuals registered in an event. Events to begin shortly after close of check-in.

Fees:

Individual: $25.00 for first event, $15.00 for each additional event.

Team: $75.00 for first event, $55.00 for second event.

Payment options: cash, cheque, e-transfer (visa/debit not accepted at this time)

NOTE: fees are waived for all OSM Fencing members in good standing.

Uniform Requirements:

ALL fencers must have full kit (i.e. complete uniform, weapon-appropriate mask, knee-high socks, etc.) with minimum 350N C.E. resistance.

Medals:

Individual

Medals & certificate of placement issued to Top 4. In the case in which events are mixed, medals & certificate of placement will be issued to the Top 4 men and women. Certificate of placement available upon request for any fencer outside the Top 4.

Team

Medals & certificate of placement issued to Top 3. Certificate of placement available upon request for any fencer outside of the Top 3.

Club Champion

OSM Fencing members with the highest number of points earned in each Age Category will receive the OSM Fencing 2024 Club Champion trophy.

NOTE: club points earned in a mixed event for OSM Fencing members will reflect their overall placement in the event and not their separated placement.

Photos & Video Recording:

Participants may appear in tournament photos during the course of their event(s). All event finals will be recorded and posted to the OSM Fencing YouTube channel. Purpose of these video recordings is to provide fencers the opportunity to evaluate and study their performance, as well as to provide family/friends/coaches unable to attend, the opportunity to view the event final(s).
