FOIL Open Fencing Practice BFA

BFA hosts a two-hour open-fencing practice for foil fencers from 12 to 2pm. We welcome all levels and ages of fencers!
Join us at Bida Fencing Academy for an exciting Open Fencing Bout Practice designed for foil fencers of all ages and levels! This session is a great opportunity to gain real bout experience, improve tactical thinking, and fence with a variety of partners in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether you’re preparing for competitions or simply looking to sharpen your skills, this practice will help you build confidence and consistency on the strip.
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Venue: Bida Fencing Academy; 2360 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95050
Parking tips: There is convenient parking both in front and behind the club, as well as additional spaces in nearby plazas. We recommend arriving a little early to secure your spot and ensure a smooth check-in.
We recommend arriving half an hour before the event, so the fencers can warm up and be ready on time.
We accept payment at the door, and in that case please arrive a bit earlier so we can discuss the details.
Fencers will rotate through multiple bouts and focus on applying technique under real fencing conditions.

- Foil weapon (1 or 2 recommended)
- Mask
- Fencing jacket
- Fencing pants
- Underarm protector
- Glove
- Body cord (1 or 2 recommended)
- Lamé
- Long socks
- Indoor athletic shoes
