Maple Madness

All events are open to fencers born 2008 or earlier, and require Access or Competitive level US Fencing membership. E-Under events are open to unrated and E rated fencers only. You may enter one morning and one afternoon event, but not 2 events that start at the same time. The Green Mt Division requires all competitors, including youth, to be fully vaccinated for covid. You will be asked to show proof of vaccination (a picture on your phone is fine, does not need to be original vax card). If you are unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons, please bring a note from your doctor explaining the reason for exemption. If not sure whether you qualify for a medical exemption and want to discuss it confidentially, feel free to contact the organizer. At present, mask mandates are still in place both in the Middlebury schools and for US Fencing national tournaments. Although that may change, for now you should expect to be required to wear a mask over your mouth and nose at all times inside MUMS, including while fencing, except for brief, socially distanced water breaks. Entry fees: $15 for 1 event or $20 for 2 if registered by March 14. After that, $20 for one event/$30 for 2.
