Pre-Season Training with Olympians and national champions, requires at least two years of national competition level experience.
Join 2023 Senior World Champion and 3 x Olympian Eli Dershwitz and Zeta Coaches to prepare for the 2026/27 season! This program is designed for saber fencers with at least two years of national level competition experience. Fencers will be grouped by ability levels. Eli Dershwitz's vast experience as a competitor and coach, as well as his engaging and dynamic style, will offer all participants a challenging and unique opportunity to train with a legend in the sport.
Each day of the camp will start with a variation of different athletic movements, followed by strength, power and conditioning exercises, as well as mobility and injury prevention routines. The camp will place a heavy emphasis on footwork, with daily technical drills, tactical bouting, video review, psychological preparation and post practice recovery routines. You will leave this camp a better sabre fencer than you started and make new friends and contacts!
Full uniform and bouting equipment is required for participation.
Cost is $950.
One-on-one lessons are available to participants in the clinic. Instructions will be sent directly to registered participants.
Schedule:
- Morning Session: 9AM - 12:30 PM
- Lunch Break 12:30 - 1:30 PM
- Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM - 4PM

About Eli Dershwitz:
Eli Dershwitz is one of the most decorated and accomplished men's saber fencers in USA Fencing history. In 2015, he became the first American men's saber fencer ever to win an individual world title with his gold at the U20 World Championships in Uzbekistan. In 2023, he won gold at the Senior World Championships in Milan, making him one of only two American men ever to win an individual senior world title. He has competed at the past three Olympic Games. He is also the only American men's saber fencer to finish an entire season as the #1 ranked fencer in the world. In addition, he won two individual NCAA championship titles, coached multiple athletes to NCAA championship titles, and most recently won gold at the Division 1 July Challenge in Milwaukee in 2025.
About ZETA Fencing:
There are three airports within easy reach of Zeta Fencing: Logan Airport (Boston, 31 miles), Worcester Regional Airport (30 miles), TF Green International Airport (Providence, RI, 50 miles).
The nearest Amtrak train station is Route 128 Station, 24 miles from Zeta. The Worcester Metrowest Regional Train Station is less than a mile from Zeta.
Zeta's well-lit facility with AC features 12 full length fencing strips and wireless scoring machines. There is a changing room and a comfortable visitor viewing area with free Wi-Fi. There is plenty of free parking around the building and across the street. A local coffeeshop with bakery and sandwiches is next door.
