AFM Beginner Fencing Summer Camp #1 (7-10y.o)

AFM Beginner Summer Camp 2017 is designed for youth 7-10 years old who never fenced before. The new fencer will learn to fence with proper form and technique from the start following a proven method based on decades of experiences of AFM coaches. We believe in training that combines intensive workouts and exercise with the incredible joy of learning and fun of the game. Our camps engage and motivate the young camper so that time flies and keeps them going on. Beginners will be amazed at how much they learned and improved their conditioning and fencing skills. Beginning fencers will acquire basic fencing skills, including foot work, blade work, and distance control, they will fence with electrical equipment and understand fencing etiquette, rules and sportsmanship. Length: 5 Days Dates: Monday July 17 – Friday July 21, 2017 Camp Hours: 9am – 4pm Price - $495 for the entire camp Discounts: 10% off for sibling in the same camp (a check for the sibling discount will be issued on the first day of the camp as the askFred software does not support discount functionality) All fencing equipment is provided by AFM. The camper should bring: 1. Long sport pants 2. Sport shoes (tennis shoes are good) 3. 2 T-shirts to change 4. Warm up jacket 5. Personal lunch AFM has high quality new facilities with space for fencers to hangout during off training hours after the drop off and before the pick-up times. Location: Academy of Fencing Masters 86 Railway Ave., Campbell, CA 95008 To complete pre-registration a full amount of $495 must be paid on askFRED Refund / Cancellation Policy: All cancellation or transfer requests must be made with at least 15 business days notice prior to start date of the camp. A $10 cancellation fee per activity per person will be deducted from the refund. Cancellation requests with less than 15 business days notice will not receive a refund. If less than 10 people register to the camp it might be canceled, in which case the fees (minus askFred administrative fees) would be refunded in full. Prior to the camp every camper must register for USA Fencing Association non-competitive membership (cost $10) and bring a proof of registration at the first day of camp.
