FRED Announces the Washington Fencing Academy/SwordMasters Open --Open/Mixed Epee Competition and Open House-- Sponsored by First Mutual Bank and SwordMasters(www.sword-masters.com) -- SwordMasters equipment prizes to top four;medals to top eight; door prizes and free refreshments! Doors open at 6pm, registration closes at 6:45. Seven dollars ifpre-registered; 10 dollars at the door. To compete, full uniform is mandatory, as well as current competitiveUSFA membership or equivalent. There will be one round of pools with100% promoted to direct elimination. Only 10 minutes from the 405! From Seattle/Bellevue: The I-405 South, take the WA-900 exit (#4)towards WA-169 S/Renton/Enumclaw; stay straight to go onto SunsetBlvd N/WA-900; Turn left onto SE Maple Valley Hwy/WA-169; SE MapleValley HWY/WA-169 becomes Renton Maple Valley Rd/WA 169 (Maple ValleyHighway). From I-405 North: take the WA-169 S exit (#4) towards Enumclaw/MapleValley/Bronson Way. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto SEMaple Valley Hway/WA-169; SE Maple Valley HWY/WA-169 becomes RentonMaple Valley Rd/WA 169 (Maple Valley Highway). The Maple Valley Community Hall is on the right, just after a producestand, about 9.9 miles from I-405.
