Burbank Parafencing Center will be hosting a Para Foil Team tournament! Team competitions are very exciting! This is a great opportunity to learn more about parafencing and tournament formats!
Burbank Parafencing Center members will have the unique experience of fencing in a team competition! These events are wildly exciting with lots of cheering! Certainly a favorite of competitors at large national events! Three-on-three matches with cumulative scoring up to 45 points (9 bouts in total). Fencers switch every 5 touches, or at the end of 3 minutes, whichever comes first.
Teams will be assigned based on skill level. We need 12 fencers to fill out 4 teams of 3. Register now!!!
Example: Team 1 vs Team 2. At the end of the 1st bout, Team 1 is leading 5-2. The 2nd bout starts off at 5-2 for Team 1. Team 2's fencer scores 8 unanswered touches in a row. Team 2 is now leading 10-5. This format continues over 9 bouts.

Membership: All participants must be members of USA Fencing. This event is only open to Burbank Parafencing Center members in good standing.
Equipment: All necessary equipment will be provided. Fencing pants and long socks are required.
