Last year's tournament, also ran by Winter Garden, was approximately 45 minutes ahead of schedule with a full house. Jennifer Seachrist has several years of tournament administration experience, including large scale competitions of over 100 entries. As with other Florida divisions, Central Florida is short on qualified referees. We will strive to provide you with as many trained referees as we can! Since the tournament is pre-pay only, the number of no-shows will be drastically reduced. Membership is required. Please join the USFA, if needed, prior to the tournament. This tournament will be conducted on 6-8 grounded strips on a full size basketball court. Per Division policy, no event with fewer than 4 entries will be fenced. No events with fewer than 8 entries will include direct eliminations. Points will be awarded for the top 4 positions in each event (3 points for 1st, 2 points for 2nd and 1 point for both 3rds). ZERO TOLERANCE FOR POOR CONDUCT. This applies to spectators, fencers and coaches. All referees and administrators deserve respect and patience for doing a tough job. Masks, body cords and mask cords will be checked by the armorer. Proper fencing attire is required for safety. Payment is required to complete your registration. The processing fee is non-refundable, unless your event is cancelled. Any event fees will be promptly refunded if you are unable to attend or fence for any reason. Remember, we all despise no-shows. It isn't fair to sign-up and then not show-up.
