2026 Wayne State - DANOSI OPEN *Sanctioned*

Event is being held at the Matthaei Building, the older building next to the Fieldhouse.

Between 11:30 - 1 pm. During a lull in the fencing Wayne State Fencing will be recognizing graduating seniors. During this time, we will be stopping all fencing for a brief 10 minutes. We hope you join us in celebrating their upcoming graduations. We also appreciate your patience as the fencing pauses briefly during this time.

PRE-REG AND ENTRY: $45 per event. Pre-registration closes on Thursday, February 5th, 2026. $20 late fee at door if not pre-registered. All event fees due upon arrival. We accept cash, check, or credit card on-site. Please make checks payable to "Wayne State University" (Even though the entry fee can only be paid upon arrival, we are kindly asking all fencers to preregister on askFRED).

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? USA Fencing Members born in 2012 or earlier. This is a sanctioned event and we will be verifying USA Fencing membership status at check in.

Spectators are welcome, there are no additional fees for friends and family who are not participating.

7:00 am Gym Opens

7:30 Registration and Equipment check open (mask and glove)

8:00 am - Men's Epee

10:00 am - Women's Foil

11:00 am - Women's Epee

12:00 pm - Men's Saber

2:00 pm - Men's Foil

3:30 pm - Women's Saber

Please note: all times are subject to change.

All events are restricted to 36 competitors due to venue size.

There will not be an equipment vendor at the event.

Event Parking: Lot 50, in front of the venue. Street parking is also available.
