Celebrate the end of the 2025 NCIFL season with our two-day, unsanctioned 3-weapon tournament! Includes individuals, teams, and doubles epee. Open to all collegiate athletes.

This is an unsanctioned Northern California Intercollegiate Fencing League (NCIFL) tournament. Spectators are welcome.

All participants must present a valid college ID for individual events at check-in to participate.

Teams and Doubles Epee are also open to non-collegiate fencers (18+).


Day 1 - Individual Events

  1. 9:00 am Novice Foil
  2. 9:30 am Senior Foil
  3. 11:30 am Senior Epee
  4. 1:30 pm Senior Sabre

- Fencers must register with their collegiate club as their primary AskFRED affiliation to earn NCIFL points.

- Novice fencers must have less than 1 year of fencing experience. If competing in the Novice category, they may not compete in other events on Day 1.

- Senior Fencers may compete in a maximum of two individual events.


Day 2 - Team Events & Doubles Epee

  1. 10:00 am Team Foil
  2. 11:30 am Team Epee
  3. 1:00 pm Team Sabre
  4. 2:30 pm Doubles Epee

- Neither teams nor Doubles Epee are counted towards NCIFL points.

- Team events will follow the standard USFA/FIE format of relays to 45 points.

  1. Teams must be of mixed gender, with at least two different gender identities as starters (non-alternates).

- Fencers are limited to 2 team events. If they are competing in a second team event, they must be an alternate.

- Doubles epee rules:

  1. Teams of two fence simultaneously on side-by-side strips. A point is awarded when both fencers from a team are eliminated. First to 5 points wins.


Entry Fees:

  1. Paid in-person via Cash, Venmo, or Zelle at check-in.

- Individual Events:

  1. $25 per event, pre-registered.
  2. $30 per event, at-the-door registration.

- Team events:

  1. $40 per pre-registered team.
  2. $50 per at-the-door team.

- Doubles Epee:

  1. $10 per team.
  2. No pre-registration required, but it's encouraged.
  3. Registration may take place at-the-door.

Locate the red phone booth between Hickey Gym and the Memorial Union Bus Islands, then enter Hickey Gym and up the left stairway.


Parking:

  1. Parking on UCD campus is free on weekends.
  2. The Quad Parking Structure is recommended.
  3. There is also street parking.
