Trojan Fencing Club invites you to the 2024 Linkmeyer Invitational honoring Fred Linkmeyer, USC C/O 1931. $25 registration + $25 per event, NO late entry. Age 14 and up. USFA membership required.
USC's Trojan Fencing Club would like to invite everyone to the 2024 Linkmeyer Invitational on February 3rd, 2024. This tournament is hosted in honor of Fred Linkmeyer, USC Class of 1931.
Entry Fees: $25 registration + $25 per event, payable at the door. CASH or CHECK ONLY. All checks can be made out to "Trojan Fencing Club".
You MUST be preregistered to compete in this tournament. Preregistration opens on December 5 and closes on January 31, 2024 at 11:59pm PST.
Location: USC PED North Gym, 3560 Watt Way, Los Angeles, CA
Enter campus from Jefferson Blvd at McClintock Ave. Metered parking is available around campus.
Schedule of events with close of check-in:
Senior Mixed Foil - 8:00 AM (limited to 60 competitors)
VetCombined Mixed Foil - 9:00 AM (limited to 25 competitors)
Senior Mixed Epee - 12:00 PM (limited to 60 competitors)
Senior Mixed Saber - 2:00 PM (limited to 30 competitors)
Current USFA membership required. Must be born 2010 or earlier. Fencers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Full fencing uniform required, including long socks, knickers, underarm protector, and chest protector for women. Foil fencers must use a FIE certified chest protector. Saber fencers must use a FIE compliant saber glove with a cuff. Masks for all weapons will be checked.
