FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT - Mixed Saber

Columbus Fencing & Fitness is proud to announce the return of FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT tournament series! This is an exciting opportunity for fencers of all levels to gain valuable competitive experience close to home. Our professional and friendly staff will ensure that your experience is a positive one. We hope to see you there! AGE ELIGIBILITY: Open to all fencers born in 2009 or earlier. No classification requirements. CLOSE OF REGISTRATION: Mixed OPEN Saber - 6:30 PM The doors open at 5:00 PM. TOURNAMENT FORMAT: One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination. No fence-off for third place. Medal's awarded to top four finishers. Have club's warm ups or whites for the medal ceremony. LOCATION: CF&F's 8000+ sq. ft. training facility with 9 regulation size electric strips with Favero scoring equipment (18 fencing strips total), a dedicated armory, and spacious bathrooms is the perfect place to prepare for the competition. MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: All participants must be current 2022-23 USA Fencing COMPETITIVE or ACCESS members. Please bring your membership card or digital proof of membership to Check-In desk. FENCING GEAR RENTAL: We're here for you! If you are missing or outgrew some fencing gear required to participate in the competition, our club's armory likely has what you need. Send us an email with "Fencing Gear Rental Request" as the subject line and include the names of the items/sizes needed at least 48 hours before event registration closes so that our armorer/staff may have time prepare accordingly. (ex: Saber Mask size Small, Foil Lame RH size 42 US; Saber Glove LH size 8, etc)
