EPEE TEAMS (3 athletes per team max)

PRICE: $50 per person ($150 per team)

AWARDS:

1. MEET EVENTS WIL AWARD:
2. 1 Gold medal (per team member)
3. 1 Silver medal (per team member)
4. 1 Bronze medal (per team member)

1. SEASON CHAMPIONS will receive a season Trophy (best combined result from all 3 meets)

1. High-school students will receive an AAU VARSITY CERTIFICATE at the end of the series
2. Elementary/Middle School students will receive a AAU Interscholastic league Diploma

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

1. Epee only
2. FLA school team rules
3. 2 minute rounds
4. 3 people max per team (emergency subs can be added when needed, but they are not part of the team)
5. Y10/Y12/Y14/CDT/JNR (5 points per round - 45 total)
6. Y6/Y8 (3 points per round, 27 total)
7. 350 NW Non-FIE equipment is accepted

LEAGUE POINT FORMAT

1. Each event will grant you SCHOOL LEAGUE POINTS according to your place.
2. All 3 results will be added together.
3. The teams with the best combined result from the series (per age & weapon) will become the SEASON CHAMPIONS and will make history by permanently adding their names to the AAU/FLA Interscholastic record.

ALL EVENTS ARE CAPPED, ENROLL NOW TO ENSURE YOUR PLACE

SENIOR & VET team events are friendly, not part of the school league.

Make sure to check your birth year coincides with the correct age category below.

1. 6 & under/Y-6 (2019-2020)
2. 8 & under/Y-8 (2017-2018)
3. 10 & under/Y-10 (2015-2016)
4. 12 & under/Y-12 (2013-2014)
5. 14 & under/Y14 (2011-2012)
6. CADET (2009-2010)
7. JUNIOR (2006-2008)
8. SENIOR (2013 or earlier)
9. VET COMB (1986 or earlier)

NOTE

Athletes 12 and younger are allowed to participate in ONE age group above their own.

Athletes 13 or older are allowed to participate above their age group all the way to SNR.

SANCTIONING AUTHORITY

1. This event is Licensed by the AAU and Sanctioned by FLA
2. AAU membership is required.

** Liability waiver - Upon entering this tournament you agree to abide by the current rules of AAU/FLA and other applicable rules instituted by SMC. You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release AAU. FLA and its sponsors, SMC, referees and staff from any and all liability. With entry you give consent to SMC to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital or clinic for any injury or illness that may arise during activities associated with this tournament.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE - By registering not this tournament you agree and hereby consent to the recording of statements, photographs, and/or audio or video recordings taken of the Minor or you by SWORD MASTERS CLUB, LLC. o or its contractors. All statements, photographs, and/or audio or video recordings taken of the Minor or you by SWORD MASTERS CLUB, LLC or its contractors, shall be the sole property of SWORD MASTERS CLUB, LLC Neither the Minor nor you shall receive any compensation in connection with use of these statements, photographs, and/or audio or video recordings for promotional, commercial or other purposes. On behalf of the Minor and yourself, you hereby release, waive and discharge any claims of any kind or nature arising out of or relating to the use of the statements, photographs, and/or audio or video recordings against SWORD MASTERS CLUB, LLC or any person or firm authorized by SWORD MASTERS CLUB, LLC to publish said materials ("Publisher")

Such release, waiver and discharge shall also extend to all affiliated companies, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns of SWORD MASTERS CLUB, LLC and any Publisher. This Release shall be binding upon the Minor and yourself, and any respective successors, heirs, assigns, executors, administrators, spouse and next of kin.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge Sword Masters Club, LLC, it’s owners, officers, agents and assignees, for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Sword Masters Club, LLC., whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Sword Masters Club, LLC. or other third parties. I understand that I am assuming the risk for any and all damage or injuries received to myself or my family due to my or my child’s participation or presence at Sword Masters Club, LLC or any tournaments at which I or my child may participate.
