WAY Foil Y8, Y10, Y12 Men's and Women's

Update May 30: The Y10 womens foil will be mixed with the boys Y10 foil due to a lack of female registrants. We simple do not have enough girls registered to have a stand alone event.

Fencers and Families,

We're really looking forward to welcoming you this Sunday June 1, at Way of the Sword! We truly appreciate you choosing to cross swords with us.

This tournament is designed to give students a great opportunity to compete locally, free from the usual stress and pressures of an RYC event. To keep things relaxed, we won't be checking armor or foil springs. However, please remember that underarm protectors are mandatory per USFA uniform regulations. If you find yourself in need of any equipment, simply let us know, and we'll be happy to assist.

The entry fee for this event is a very reasonable $25. In return for this low cost, we kindly ask for your patience if our referees are still gaining experience—they're part of the learning process too!

Lastly, we'll have plenty of snacks on hand for all the kids attending, but ask you to bring enough water to get your athlete through the day! As for medals we will be awarding top 4 positions with the exception of Y8 girls foil which will be top 8.

This will be a purposeful tournament for young emerging fencing students. We have created a tournament that celebrates the first time fencer while honoring the hard work and dedication of the finalist. Everyone is welcome to come share and improve their skill. Ref's will be non-certified students. Results will be posted to Fencing Time Live.

Y8 also welcomes Y6 kids with parents being present at all times.

Full USFA uniform required

USFA basic membership required.
