A rolling twice-monthly series hosted jointly by Capital Fencing Club and Heisler Fencing Club to serve all age and skill levels of foil and epee.
Unrated is capped low, but run twice monthly, and has a lower registration fee. This event is optimized to get fencers their first rating. If you're trying to get your E, plan to attend this multiple times per month either with us or at Davis Fencing Academy's events!
It is recommended to show up 1 hour early to park, finish registration, familiarize yourself with the venue, and warm up. Please call ahead or message through AskFRED if you will be late or can't make it. At the Bout Committee's discretion any no-shows will be removed from the tournament 10 minutes after the close of registration.
This event is hosted at the Capital YMCA. No separate membership is required. Let the front desk know that you are here for the fencing tournament and they will let you through. Locker rooms and showers are available for all registrants. All other amenities are for YMCA members only.
