NJFA Youth Memorial Day Duel

Y8-Y14 - all weapons Join us whether you have been participating in the series or not. This is great Summer Nationals practice. We have had fencers from 38 clubs in 4 states participate so far. This is the ninth event in the 2006-07 NJFA Youth Cup Series. All youth events held from October 2006 through June 2007 are eligible. Points will be awarded for first 5 places in each event. Points will be cumulative and prizes will be awarded at the last tournament of the series (scheduled for June 24, 2007) Fees are: $25. for paid preregistration $30. for unpaid preregistration $35. at the door Cash or checks only for payment at the door. NO CREDIT CARDS. Requests for refunds must be received prior to close of registration. $50. fee for returned checks. Preregistration is necessary for planning. If you plan on coming, but don't wish to pay online, please pre-register without payment so that we can have an adequate number of Directors on hand. All fencers must wear required fencing attire and bring at least 2 weapons and 2 body cords. NOTE: If you are fencing in a Y10 event - you must have a #2 or #0 blade... Fencers must meet USFA birth year requirements. Youth events do not use the E1 or D1 classifications. This means that these events are “NR” until they achieve a C1 level or higher. USFA Birth Year Eligibility: Y14 1992-1995 Y12 1994-1997 Y10 1996-1999 Y8 1998-2000* Note, Y8 is not a USFA category and this event is not sanctioned by the NJ Division. This is for fun and practice, and participation is at parent discretion.
