NC Junior Olympic Qualifers

Junior Olympic Qualifiers for the NC Division! Preregistration: $10 Registration fee, $40 event fee. No At-the-Door Registration. Pre-registration closes 11/13/2022. Events Scheduled: Saturday, November 19 - JMF - 8 AM JWF - 8 AM CWF - 12 pm CMF - 12 PM JWE - 3 PM JWE - 3 PM Sunday, November 20 - JMS - 8 AM JWS - 8 AM CMS - 12 pm CWS - 12 pm CWE - 3 PM CME - 3 PM Times are close of registration. Registration opens one hour before close of registration. Events will be fenced as soon after the close of registration as possible. Events starting within 40 minutes of the close of registration are considered to be running "on-time". The event start times may be adjusted due to registration numbers. The final adjusted schedule will be posted and emailed to the pre-registered by 11/15/22 Fencers are required to have: Full fencing uniform (Mask, jacket, glove, plastron, knickers, long socks, breast protection for women) Lame (Foil or saber) Glove (all weapons - Saber gloves must be 800N FIE) Cuff (Saber - if needed) 2 weapons 2 body cords 2 mask cords (Foil or saber) Mask must be the correct mask for the weapon fenced. Leon Paul masks with the cup style retainer is required to have the lower strap. Uniforms do not require the athletes name. Armorers will be checking masks, lames, gloves, cuffs (Saber - if needed), body cords, and mask cords. Subject to change at Armorer's discretion. This is an age-restricted event. Please remember to bring a valid proof of Date of Birth (state-issued identification, birth certificate, passport, etc.) or a USA fencing membership card that shows the athlete's date of birth has been verified by the national office. Athletes cannot compete without this information being verified. Live results will be available at www.fencingtimelive.com. There will be no paper postings in the venue. Preregistration opens on 10/09/2022. Preregistration closes on 11/13/2022.
