Location: Geneveva Chavez Community Center 3221 Rodeo Rd Santa Fe, New Mexico Gym opens at 7:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Entry Fees: $20 per event Registration fee: $20 Payment is made during registration. Fencers must show up and register prior to each event entered. Format: Open Foil & Epee - - Canadian Format : Pool round with 100% advancing to DEs. Super pools are created at the round of 16 (2 pools of eight double stripped). After the pools, fencers are re-seeded on a DE table of 12 with the bottom four eliminated. The top four get byes and the middle eight fence to make the DE round of eight. All other Events: FIE 100% advance to Direct Elimination with no repechage. USFA Membership and Rules: Fencers must be able to show proof of membership. The USFA can fax proof of membership for those waiting for a new card. USFA membership forms will be available at the tournament. Minors will need the signature of a parent or guardian (not a coach) on the membership form. If you do not have proof of membership, you will be required to complete and pay for at least a one year membership with payment made directly to the USFA. Participants are required to fence in proper attire, and new USFA rules will be applied.
