Please note that Askfred uses the American naming standards for events, see below for the birth years eligible for the younger events.
U11 equals Y10 (CAD U11 Born between 2015 and 2018)
U13 equals Y12 (CAD U13 Born between 2013 and 2016)
U15 equals Y14 (CAD U15 Born between 2011 and 2014)
Cadet (any athlete who is a minimum of 12 years old and under 17
years)
Senior any athlete who is a minimum of 13 years old
Veteran (any athlete 40 years or older (*39 and older beginning in 2025-26))
Clothing Standards
This competition will be following the CFF recommended Clothing and Equipment standards for domestic competitions. Equipment checks will occur onsite each day of the event.
Low Registration Events
Any events that have less than 6 registrations will be combined
with the other men's/women's events of the corresponding age. Fencers
from this event will compete in the combined poules and tableau plus
a separate tableau. eg if there are 4 Senior women registered, they
will fence in poule with the men, in the men's DE and separately in a
women's DE. Should this happen event times for the smaller event may
be modified.

No refunds after the close of registration.

Gear Vendor
Big Bear Fencing will be present selling Epee gear at the venue. Sales will only be via credit card, no cash will be accepted.
Coaches
All Coaches get unlimited coffee for free. Bring your own cup.
License
All participants are required to have an active Competitive CFF/OFA Fencing License or an equivalent license from the participant’s home federation. All Canadian fencers are expected to hold a Canadian license.
You may purchase/renew your license via the Canadian Fencing Federation or the Ontario Fencing Association in real time. Licenses are updated in AskFred every 24 hours. Please ensure you purchase your license at least 48 hours ahead of the registration deadline to ensure acceptance without additional fees.
All international participants are required to present documentation confirming that they hold an active membership with their home federation, or a current, active FIE license.
Refund requests are handled at the discretion of the tournament organizer. Contact the organizer directly for refund inquiries.
