SoCal 6-Weapon Div II (C and under) with Consolation

Open to all USA Fencing members aged 13+, Div II (C and below), Men's and Women's events in all three weapons. Consolation events, grounded strips, professional referees, using FencingTimeLive.
Entry fee: $45 per event with pre-registration ($90 per event at the door)
The first 8 fencers who sign up with an email to admin@socaldivision.org to help set up will have their entry fees waived. Set up starts at 7:00 AM on 10/15/2023.

Events fewer than 6 entries at the close of pre-registration will be combined into a mixed gender event. If the mixed event has fewer than 6 fencers, the event will be cancelled. Fencers will be entitled to a refund if they choose not to fence in a mixed event or the event is cancelled. Format will be pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination.
For events with 14 or more fencers, those eliminated before the final 8 will begin a new event. Format pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination.

USA Fencing rules will be enforced.
All fencers must be current members of the USA Fencing (Access or Competitive membership). Proof of USA Fencing membership is either an unexpired membership card, an email from USA Fencing, or listing on the USA Fencing website. Membership forms will be available at the tournament or may be downloaded from the USAFencing.org website, however USA Fencing charges $10 extra for paper entry forms. Please join or renew your membership online at USA Fencing. If proof of membership is unavailable fencers will be required to submit a new membership application form with payment at the door. No exceptions.
Equipment: Full fencing uniform is required. Masks and gloves will be checked.
For Saber: 800N Saber gloves required.
For foil fencers using chest protectors: (all women are required to wear chest protectors) Chest protectors must include the FIE foam padding.
Medals will be awarded to top 4 fencers in each event including consolation events.
Age Category / Birth Years: Competitors must be at least 13 years old on Jan. 1, 2023 of the competition unless the fencer is on the National Junior Point Standings. (Born 2010 or earlier)
