9:00a - Y14 Men's/Women's Epee 11:00a - Y10 Men's/Women's Epee 1:00p - Y12 Men's/Women's Epee Preregistration opens on 8/23/2022 Preregistration closes on 05/27/2023 The tournament is at the Multipurpose room at Earl Warren Middle School in Solana Beach $40 with preregistration $50 day of event The San Diego Youth Cup is a series of tournaments held over the course of the season designed to name an overall Men's and Women's Champion for each weapon. Points are awarded at every tournament! Tournament Format: Standard- Single round of pools, 100% promotion to single Direct elimination table. Medals will be awarded to the top 4 finishers. Genders will be mixed if an event has fewer than 5 competitors. All competitors receive points, and lists will be separated by gender. Points awards are given out at the final youth event. Current points lists can be found here: Equipment Check: Mask and glove checks will be done at the armory table. Gloves with holes, rips, tape or loose seams will not be approved. Armorers reserve the right to decline any equipment that is not clean and dry. Volunteers: Please help us run the events even smoother by volunteering. Fencers and supporters alike will benefit from learning the process from start to finish. This knowledge will assuredly give you a competitive edge. Officials: If you'd like to be an official referee, time keeper or floor judge for an event, please contact us. Fencers: Please bring proof of current USFA membership or register on-site. Entry fee is $40 if pre-registered or $50 day-of. Mask check and glove checks are mandatory. Current USFA rules will be applied. Foreign Fencers with a current Fencing License from their National Federation or with an FIE License will be allowed to fence, but are not covered by USA Fencing Insurance and participate at their own risk. It is recommended that you do get an USA Fencing competitive license to be fully covered and also to record your results and rating Tiradores de otros paises pueden participar si muestran su licencia Nacional o con una licencia FIE. Pero no estan cubiertos por el seguro de la Federacion de los Estados Unidos y participaran bajo su propio riesgo. Por esa razon, es muy recomedable que obtengam una Licencia Competitiva de EE.UU.
