Division III and Unrated Events
Parking will be at the main entrance. Enter off Alameda Ave.
Location will be in the Cafeteria. From the main entrance, turn right down the main hallway. You will see the Cafeteria on the left and the stage in front of the Dance/Theater rooms to the right. Three sets of restrooms are accessible to the public: one by the main entrance, one past the cafeteria to the left and one down the first hallway to the right past the cafeteria. There are drinking stations by each restroom.
Div III (D and Under) will close at 8:30am. If not present, we must have confirmation of "en route" by this time.
E and Under will have check in close at 11:00 and will start as strips and most fencers are available.
Expecting finish time: 2:00-3:00pm.
USFA Access or Competitive Memberships required.
As this event sponsors the High School fencers, there are no tournament fees, but any donations to support the HS funds would be greatly appreciated.
Spectators are free to use the cafeteria chairs to sit or the edge of the "Black Box" stage, but do keep children from wandering around or exploring the building. There will be tutoring and other sporting events going on in the campus. Most of the campus will empty after 12:00-12:30 so if leaving after this time, doors may be locked to come back in. For security purposes, please keep trips back and forth between the building and cars to a minimum.
For any traveling from out of town, the nearest hotels are "Residence Inn by Marriot" at I-10 and Eastlake, right by the giant Amazon plant, and the Hampton Inn and Courtyard by Marriot at I-10 and George Deiter. No special deals are offered with them at this point.
