Forge Spring Saber Slam!

Forge Spring Saber Slam – May 16–17 | Forge Fencing

Forge Fencing is excited to host the Forge Spring Saber Slam, a two-day competition dedicated to high-level saber fencing, athlete, and referee development. This event will feature a strong slate of USA Fencing sanctioned events, expected to draw a highly competitive field and provide excellent opportunities for fencers to earn new ratings.

Sanctioned Events:

1. Youth 14 Mixed Saber
2. Division III (D & Under) Mixed Saber
3. Unrated Men’s Saber
4. Unrated Women’s Saber
5. Senior Mixed Saber

Unsanctioned Event:

1. Youth 12 Mixed Saber

This tournament is designed to be both competitive and developmental. In addition to high-quality bouts, the event will serve as a referee development opportunity, with active mentoring and observation of officials. If you are interested in refereeing, please contact Jeff Kallio at jeff@forgefencing.com.

All sanctioned events will follow USA Fencing rules and equipment standards, including on-site armory (equipment control) to check and verify gear. A current USA Fencing Access or Competitive membership is required for all sanctioned events.

Additional Notes:

1. The Youth 12 event is unsanctioned (no membership required), but all equipment rules will still be enforced, including FIE glove requirements
2. Awards will be given to the top 4 finishers in each event.
3. Early registration ends on 5/11/2026. Late entries and walk-ins will be accepted at double fees
