Youth events are unsanctioned and senior events are sanctioned, with instruction for those who are new to tournaments. A great first tournament for new fencers, and a great zillionth tournament for those looking for a fun, casual, local tournament.

Join us for this developmental tournament for youth and senior fencers! The youth events will follow the format of a normal tournament, with instruction for all fencers about equipment checks, format, etiquette, and more. For the senior events, we'll pair new fencers with an experienced "buddy" who will walk them through the tournament. A great first tournament for new fencers, and a great zillionth tournament for those looking for a fun, casual, local tournament! Events Scheduled: 10:00 Y8 Mixed Foil 10:30 Senior Mixed Foil 11:30 Y10 & Y12 Mixed Epee 12:00 Senior Mixed Epee 1:00 Y10 & Y12 Mixed Foil 1:30 Y10 & Y12 Mixed Saber 2:30 Senior Mixed Saber Fees Registration: $20 Each Event: $10 A late fee of $20.00 will be charged to walk-ins who have not pre-registered on FRED. Format Round robin pools with 100% advancement to direct elimination rounds. Direct elimination bouts will be 10-touch for Y8 and Y10/Y12 events and 15-touch for the senior events. If fewer than four fencers have preregistered for an event by Thursday, May 30, we will cancel the event. Membership Youth events require at least a Non-Competitive Membership. Senior events require a competitive membership. Equipment All current USA Fencing equipment requirements will be enforced. Body cords, masks and gloves will be checked. Preregistration closes on 05/30/2019.
