Join us at UC Santa Cruz for our annual Northern California Intercollegiate Fencing League tournament.

Tournament Details:
- All events open to collegiate fencers only.
- Proof of college enrollment (i.e. current student ID) required.
- Fencers MUST register for events under their collegiate club affiliation to compete and to earn points for their school (must be the primary club in FRED, not secondary!).
- Novice fencers must have less than 1 year of fencing experience and are not allowed any crossovers.
- Fencers may compete in no more than two events.
- There will be an optional but highly recommended equipment check for body cords and mask cords available to all fencers. Getting your gear checked will help the tournament run smoothly.

- Novice Foil 9:00 am
- Foil 9:30 am
- Epee 11:30 am
- Saber 1:30 pm
Waiver:
- Please fill out this waiver online prior to the tournament: https://bananaslugs.formstack.com/forms/competition_waiver
- Please ensure you select fencing from the dropdown menu when you fill it out.
- You will not be allowed to compete without a completed waiver.
Cost:

- Please print a receipt or have a screenshot ready.
- Early bird registration closes the WEDNESDAY before the event, so do not wait until the last minute to sign up!
- Registration AFTER Wednesday, March 5th: $25 for first event, $35 for second event. Cash will also be accepted at the door.
Directions to the Tournament:
Follow directions for 1156 High St. From the base of campus, continue onto High St which will turn into Empire Grade. Take a right on Heller Drive. For the closest parking, take a right on Oakes Road and park in Lot 160. From there, walk up the stairs into Rachel Carson College and follow signs for the West Field House. If Lot 160 is full, park in the West Remote Lot on Heller Drive in the direction from which you came, and walk North towards Rachel Carson College.
