Capital City Fencers' Club is proud to present Fence-a-Thon 2009, a twelve-hour overnight fencing marathon to support pancreatic cancer research. Come join us for fencing, food, and fabulous prizes!

Capital City Fencers' Club is proud to present Fence-a-Thon 2009, a twelve-hour overnight fencing marathon to support pancreatic cancer research. Come join us for fencing, food, and fabulous prizes! Events Scheduled: Women's Epee Women's Foil Women's Saber Men's Epee Men's Foil Men's Saber Venue: St Andrew's Regional High School, 880 McKenzie Ave, Victoria, BC Registration for all events closes at 6:30pm, with fencing commencing at 7pm and continuing until 7am on the 14th. Cost is $20 plus whatever you can raise -- 100% of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the BC Cancer Foundation in memory of national and international fencing referee Christian Vidosa. There will be FABulous prizes for the competitors who raise the most cash! Your $20 buys you twelve hours of fencing, a chance at prizes, and a seat at our famous midnight feast. Fencers are asked to choose only one weapon to fence during the competition portion of the evening (7pm-12am). Results from these events will be submitted to the CFF for points. After midnight, fence anything you want! All competitors must wear appropriate safety gear and hold valid CFF, USFA or FIE licenses (accredited by the BCFA or another appropriate body). Questions?
