Events: Mixed Foil Open Mixed Epee Open Mixed Sabre Open Notice: The rules, policies, and procedures of USA Fencing will govern the conduct of the competition. Participants, tournament staff, and all individuals covered under the terms of USA Fencing’s Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies, SafeSport Policy, and Codes of Conduct must adhere to these policies throughout the competition. These policies and related resources are available on USA Fencing’s website. Compliance with policies and procedures adopted by USA Fencing in response to COVID-19 is mandatory. In addition to USA Fencing's Local Tournament Procedures, we will be enforcing the following COVID-19 protocols: Vaccination: Individuals who have completed a COVID vaccine series (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson only) 14 days prior to arrival at the venue will NOT need to obtain a negative PCR test result, but they must provide proof of vaccination upon entry into the venue. COVID-19 Testing: All participants in the tournament who have not completed one of the COVID-19 vaccine series listed above at least 14 days prior to the start of the tournament must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result in order to enter the facility. This includes athletes and staff as well as all coaches and spectators. The COVID-19 PCR test must be taken no more than 72 hours prior to the start of travel and must be shown daily to enter the venue. Mask Mandate: As announced in October 2020, all participants in USA Fencing events, including coaches, athletes, spectators, and staff, MUST wear a face mask that covers the mouth and nose at all times, including competition. Temperature Screening: All athletes, staff, coaches, and spectators will be screened for a fever using an infrared thermometer upon entry to the venue. Individuals experiencing a fever will not be permitted into the event. COVID-19 Symptom Self-Check: All athletes, staff, coaches, and spectators will be asked to assess themselves for COVID-19 symptoms as identified by the CDC and sign documentation agreeing that they do not have related symptoms. 8:00 am - Venue Opens 8:30 am - Check-In Begins 9:00 am - Mixed Foil Registration Closes 12:00 pm - Mixed Sabre Registration Closes 2:00 pm - Mixed Epee Registration Closes Equipment Check: Mask and glove will be inspected, and the mask will be subjected to a standard punch test. Masks and gloves that fail the inspection or do not bear the armorer’s inspection mark cannot be used in the competition. Changing Facilities: Locker rooms will be available throughout the event. Parking: Parking will be available for free by pass on S Oak St. and in all neighboring lots. Parking passes will be available the day of at bout committee through a link. Sanctioning Authority: Southwest Ohio Division of USA Fencing *Concessions will not be available, but there are water fountains at the venue. Questions?
