We're having a tournament to work on referee practical exams. Formats TBD, but our goal is to create competitive situations to make the refs work, and make sure everybody gets lots of fencing!
The goal of this event is to provide repetitions for developing referees. They need to see competitive bouts, and that's where you come in! Event structure will be determined based on the number of entrants and examinees, and we reserve the right to split the groups by age or level. If you haven't competed with video challenges, this is a good opportunity to work on those skills!
Potential formats:
- Traditional (Pools -> DEs)
- Traditional w/ Repechage or Fence-to-Place
- Round Robin
- NCAA Champs (Round Robin -> Final 4)
