Registration is restricted to SWIFA member schools. Official registration must be completed on AskFRED but payment should be completed at https://swifafencing.org.

EVENT INFORMATION
Venue opens at 8 AM.
Check-in closes at and fencing begins as early as 9 AM.
Events will be concluded no later than 8 PM.
Schools should list squads with a designated A, B, C, and optional alternate fencer. There is no limit to the number of squads a member school can bring. Only the highest placing squad in each event from a given school will earn points for their school.
Round 1 will consist of squad pools to decide seeding for Round 2's direct elimination bracket. Based on the cumulative performances of the top-placing squad from each event representing a school, a top overall team will be awarded in addition to the three squads that win each DE bracket.
SWIFA Austin is being held at The University of Texas at Austin.

Participating should park in Manor Garage, Brazos Garage, or San Jacinto Garage. These are all close to the venue (listed in order from closest to furthest from the RecCenter).

ABOUT SWIFA
The Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Association (SWIFA) is the conference for competitive college fencing teams in Texas and the greater southwest region of the United States. SWIFA's goal is to promote, introduce, and develop the sport, as well as encourage and assist schools and their members in reaching their full potential as athletes, coaches, armorers, and referees.
