Our Challenge is here, and it's an opportunity you wouldn't want to miss! These challenges are open to all LFC Members (and special guest by coaches-invitation), offering a chance to fence and discover new facets of your skills. While there's a $10 registration fee to cover costs, rest assured, we've crafted these challenges to be both enjoyable and educational.


Payment can be made via Zelle (QR below) or through this ZenPlanner events link.


All LFC Challenges will follow the same Saturday morning format:

  1. Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  2. Foil and Saber may be fenced as a single, merged event if attendance is low
  3. Events are Self Refereed
  4. Lunch & Member Meeting: 12:30 PM (Pizza lunch + a short update meeting for fencers, families, and members)


The LFC Challenge bridges the gap between training and competition. These in-house events give fencers the chance to:

  1. Apply skills from lessons and classes in real bout situations
  2. Gain familiarity with referee calls and strip etiquette
  3. Practice essential tournament habits like warm-ups and partner drills
  4. Build readiness for all levels of competition, from local RYCs/RJCCs to national championships
