Our annual novice event, Spring Steel, is here! Spring Steel is a great opportunity for newer fencers to get a taste of competition in a relaxed environment. All fencers will be able to compete against others of similar skill and experience.
Our annual novice event, Spring Steel, is here! Spring Steel is a great opportunity for newer fencers to get a taste of competition in a relaxed environment. All fencers will be able to compete against others of similar skill and experience.
This novice tournament is open to all beginner fencers who have not yet competed, or has been less than one year since your first USFA event. If you aren't sure if you qualify, e-mail alex@omahafencingclub.org.
Spring Steel will be held April 27th at Montclair Community Center. Close of registration for events is 11:30am.
Registration Fee: $40
We will accept Cash, Credit Card and Check on-site the day of. We encourage pre-payment via PayPal (or credit card via PayPal). Payment link will be sent out to participants prior to date of registration.
After registering, please message us with your preferred T-shirt size to guarantee a unique, Spring Steel 2024 shirt!

Mixed Novice Foil
Events will be split into separate age-groups based on entrants. Long pants will be required. Please do not wear black soled / marking shoes.
Any chairs brought by spectators must remain off the gym floor
