The Battle in Seattle

The Battle in Seattle is traditionally one of the Western Washington Division's largest annual events, drawing top fencers from all over the Pacific Northwest. Join us for this exciting event in the shadow of the Space Needle! WWD members will earn points toward the WWD points list based on their placement in each event. ----------- Event Schedule ----------- Saturday 1/20/07 08:00 am -- Doors open, Equipment check 09:00 am -- Open Mixed Epee 11:30 am -- Open Women's Saber 02:00 pm -- Open Women's Foil 02:30 pm -- Open Mixed Saber Sunday 1/21/07 8:00 am -- Doors open, Equipment check 9:00 am -- Open Mixed Foil 1:00 pm -- Open Women's Epee All times are close of registration. Arrive early to get your equipment checked! We will be running on a strict schedule so your promptness is appreciated. Fencers that wish to fence in two events on the same day must report to the strip when called or they may be scratched from the event. We will try to accommodate people as best we can, but we will not delay events if a fencer is still fencing in another event. ----------- Registration Information ----------- Registration fee is $20 plus $10 per event entered. Tournament fees can be paid in cash or check (US$ only) made out to USFA/WWD. You may also pre-pay on FRED when you pre-register. Proof of USFA membership (or equivalent) will be required of all participants at check-in, so please bring your membership card. You may join or renew your USFA membership at the door. Full USFA regulation uniform is required, including plastron, knickers, and knee-length socks. No jeans or sweatpants allowed. USFA rules require that all fencers be born in 1993 or earlier. ----------- Equipment Check ----------- Please arrive early to allow time for equipment checks. We will be checking masks, lames, and bodycords.
