4/29 Update:
We're currently looking at rescheduling the tournament for August. More details to follow.
Original section:
We will be fencing in the Old Main building at the York Fairgrounds. There's ample parking in the area. Spectators must follow all applicable rules, policies, and codes of conduct.
You can bring your own chairs, food, and drink. We'll also have a concession stand available. Bring charged phones. We will not have many outlets available, and the facility charges us by the outlet. Please do not charge your devices in the facility.
FEES:
$60 Registration Fee / $30 per event if preregistered on AskFred.
Walk-ons are to pay their registration and event fees at the bout committee/registration table or online. If paying online, please retain copy of the order number to show at the registration desk. This year we are collecting fees through AskFRED. If you prefer to pay by check, please contact the tournament organizer for more information.
You will need to present your valid 2024-2025 USFA Access membership (or higher) to register and compete. Please ensure all information is up-to-date in both AskFred and USA Fencing before competing. We want to move people through the tournament registration process as quickly as possible.

AGE CLASSIFICATIONS:
- Visit https://www.usafencing.org/age-classification-eligibility for more information.
NOTE ON COLLEGIATE COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIPS:
- Prior to presenting at the Bout Committee (BC) to register, any fencer with a Collegiate Competitive Membership must first present at the Membership table (located next to the BC) to confirm the status of their membership.
- To preserve the sanctioning of Keystone State Games (KSG), any fencer presenting to register with a Collegiate Competitive Membership in a "pending" status will not be able to participate unless the membership is upgraded to Collegiate Competitive. This upgrade can be done on a personal device. Those in a "pending" status who refuse to upgrade to a Collegiate Competitive Membership at the event will not be allowed to participate in KSG.
- Fencers are responsible for resolving any discrepancies between the USFA and the fencer's membership status.
PREREGISTRATION AND REGISTRATION:
- CLOSE OF PREREGISTRATION is 8/28/24.
- Fencers are to pay registration and event fees via AskFRED, or via check after making arrangements with the tournament organizer.
- Please preregister for all of your events online as to provide the organizers with a more accurate count of participants.
POINTS OF ORDER:
- This is a USFA sanctioned event.
- The bout committee reserves the right (but not the obligation) to combine men's and women's events into mixed events if fewer than 6 competitors register for either event. For the smaller events we will hold a vote and allow the fencers to decide if they want to combine or keep them separate. Men and women will still medal separately in mixed events.
- Masks with exchangeable bibs are allowed. If the inspection mark is placed on the bib, be sure not to change out your inspection mark!
- All gloves will be checked by the armorer for integrity of material. No tears or holes will be permitted (except for those that allow for the body cord).
- For safety and insurance purposes, fencers and coaches must wear the full fencing uniform while participating in drills, lessons, or warm-ups with weapon in hand. Failure to comply is a Group 3 penalty.
- KSG charges a $5 admission fee for spectators (anyone not competing, officiating, or volunteering). Spectators include family members and coaches. This year we have a donor who agreed to cover the fees.
- If you want to send your signed waiver ahead of time, email it to ronlease@gmail.com.
