The Big Blue is BACK! Our annual tournament hosted @ Forge Fencing is known as the "season starter" for NC fencers, and collegiate athletes. Outstanding referees, awesome prizes, and great fencing.
The Big Blue is BACK! Forge Fencing is bringing back a well known seasonal start up event for foil, epee and saber, both women's and men's and Mixed Youth 12. Prepayment is required to confirm registration. This will be in a Walk & Roll format and is able to be modified for entries for parafencers of all ages.
Entry Fees: $5 registration, $30 for Youth Events & $40 for Senior events
Saturday will be the Youth Y12 events starting at 3pm.
Sunday will be the Open categories, separated by gender, unless less than seven fencers exist for any one category of fencer.
Forge Fencing Academy & Clubs facility features fully grounded, full size fencing strips, and state of the art impact absorbing floor system.
Awards:
Medals for the top 3 finishers in each event (with a tie for 3rd). The winner of each event's name will be added to the Big Blue perpetual trophy for the named event.
Equipment Control:
Full USA Fencing uniform and equipment standards will be upheld. Plan for armory control to check body cords, masks, gloves, and lames at the same standard you would expect at a national event.
All athletes, coaches, and spectators agree to follow the USA Fencing Codes of Conduct.
