Central Coast Fall Open 2010 @ UCSB

NOTE: THIS EVENT IS NOT BEING HELD AT OUR USUAL VENUE AT CAL POLY -- IT IS BEING HELD AT UC SANTA BARBARA! Please join us at the first Central Coast event of the season at UC Santa Barbara! Events Scheduled: - Mixed Senior Open Foil, 9:30AM - Mixed Senior Open Epee, 11:00AM - Mixed Senior Open Saber, 1:00PM Cost: - $15 per event (Pre-registration) - $20 per event (Registration at event) Notes: - 2010-2011 Season USFA membership required. Membership forms will be available at the event. Please arrive early if you have to fill out a new membership form or register online with the USFA beforehand. If you register online, be sure to bring a printed receipt or copy of your updated membership card. - ONE DAY MEMBERSHIPS - the USFA is now providing One Day Memberships for $10 each. If you want to take advantage of this option, you must register online with the USFA prior to the event. See their website, www.usfencing.org - Fencers may cross-over in one event (that is, fencers can compete in a maximum of two weapons) More info: Walter Goodwater - (805) 234-3648 http://www.centralcoastfencing.org ------------------------------------- Directions to Venue: From 101 N/S: - Take Los Carneros exit and go south - When S Los Carneros ends, turn left onto El Colegio Rd. - After the road curves, turn left onto Ocean Rd. - Before Ocean turns left, you'll pass Robertson Gym on the left. That is the venue. - Continue on Ocean to the Mesa Parking Structure on the right. If you reach Mesa Rd., you've passed it. - You will have to pay for parking in the lots or the structure. NOTE! Pre-registration will close the Friday prior to the tournament. You can still fence without pre-registering, but if you want the discounted entry fee, please pre-register early! Preregistration opens on 09/21/2010. Preregistration closes on 10/01/2010.
