EVENT SCHEDULE:
Saturday, June 6th
- Mixed Foil: 1:30pm
- Women's Foil: 1:30pm
- Mixed Saber: 4:30pm
Sunday, June 7th
- Mixed Epee: 9:00am
- Women's Epee: 2:00pm
Medals will be awarded to the top four (4) fencers in each event. Epee events will be capped at 49 fencers. Saber event will be capped at 35 fencers. Mixed Foil will be capped at 35 fencers. Women's Foil will be capped at 21 fencers. Events may be mixed if preregistrations number less than six (6) competitors. Event times are subject to change depending on the number of registrations in each event. Registrants will be notified via email in the event of a schedule change. Registration and payment must be made through askFred.net. Registration is not complete until payment is made.
If you are listed as an 'incomplete' registrant on the AskFred list, you will NOT be entered into the tournament.
Refunds will be granted up to 7 days prior to the start date of the tournament. Refunds will not be granted within 7 days of tournament start date.

If you miss the registration deadline you may reach out to us via email. Depending on the event schedule and referee availability we may be able to reserve a spot for you. The late registration fee will be an additional $45, bringing the total fee for one event to $100, paid at the door on the day of the tournament. We will do our best to accommodate you but please understand that event schedules and referee schedules are finalized based on the numbers at the close of registration. Once registration is closed space becomes limited. If you would like to save yourself some money and put less stress on organizers consider registering early.

TOURNAMENT COMMUNICATION:

All fencers are REQUIRED to present the following documents at check-in:

REFUNDS
Refund requests must be submitted to swordinthescroll@gmail.com and will only be honored if received before midnight 7 days prior to the start date of the tournament. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Any refunds will be net of surcharges from ask Fred.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Start times are subject to change - check askfred.net for updates. Fencing will commence shortly after the close of check-in. Fencers should arrive at LEAST a 1/2 hour prior to the close of check-in time. This should provide you with ample time to properly warm-up.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Full USFA regulation uniform is required.
-The fencer's name is NOT required to be displayed on their uniform for this event.
-All events are conducted with electric equipment. A preliminary inspection will be conducted at the beginning of each pool and DE to ensure the presence of the following equipment: underarm protector, hard chest protector (for women), functioning weapons and body cords. Athletes are subject to prohibition from fencing if these conditions are not met.
-Fencer must have at least two working weapons, two working body cords and two working head cords. Foil mask with conductive bib is required. Foil chest plates must have a neoprene covering as per USFA regulations.
- Events may be mixed if less than 6 fencers
-One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds.
-There will be NO fence-off for third place. Bronze medals will be awarded to both 3rd place competitors.
-Fencers are responsible for ensuring accuracy of all posted information and must report errors to the bout committee immediately. Fencer signature on pool score sheets and DE bout slip implies accuracy.

All events will be one round of pools comprised of the standard 5-touch bout in 3 minutes, with 100% promotion to direct eliminations. Pools of 6 or 7 will be used whenever possible. 100% of the fencers will be promoted to a DE tableau. Direct Elimination Tableau shall be established according to the results of the preliminary pool round.

PARKING
There is plenty of parking at the venue. 90 South Park St. is a large building with multiple parking areas. Street side parking is available as well.
