REGISTRATION
All fencers are required to have a valid USFA membership type for the 2025-2026 season to compete. Obtain or renew a membership at: https://member.usfencing.org/

REFUND POLICY
To ensure that we have the proper staffing of referees, refunds will be issued to any fencer who has pre-paid online and withdraws from the event at least 24-hours in advance of the start of the event.
NO-SHOW POLICY:
Please remove your name from the pre-registration list if you cannot attend. One no-show will be a warning. Another no-show without canceling your pre-registration will result in no longer being able to pre-register on AskFRED for future events. You may still compete as a walk-in fencer.
**LIABILITY WAIVER**
Upon entering this tournament you agree to abide by the current rules of the USFA and other applicable rules instituted by Atlantic Fencing Academy. You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release the USFA and its sponsors, Atlantic Fencing Academy, and referees from any liability. With entry you give consent to Atlantic Fencing Academy to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital or clinic for any injury or illness that may arise during activities associated with this tournament.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
-USFA regulation uniform is required, this includes long socks.
-All events are conducted with electric equipment. A preliminary inspection will be conducted at the beginning of each pool and DE to ensure the presence of the following equipment: underarm plastron, weapons, and body cords. Athletes are subject to prohibition from fencing if these conditions are not met.
-Fencer must have at least two working weapons, two body cords, and two mask cords (if applicable).
-One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds.
-No fence-off for third place; Medals awarded to 3rd place.
-Fencers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all posted information and must report errors to the bout committee immediately.
CHECK-IN CLOSE TIME
Check-in closes promptly at 6pm on the day of the event for Men's and Women's Div 2 Epee and 7pm for Men's and Women's Div 2 Sabre. If you are running late, please call us at (732) 383-5421!
