2023 Vol Open

The Fencing Club at the University of Tennessee Knoxville would like to welcome you to the 2023 Vol Open! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCHEDULE OF EVENTS* Saturday, April 1st, 2023 Open Sabre - 9:30AM Open Foil - 1:00PM Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 Open Epee- 9:30AM Women's Epee- 1:00PM *Denotes close of registration for each event. Events will start approximately 15-20 minutes after the close of registration. **Preregister as soon as possible because we will be capping the events. ***IMPORTANT*** - Preregistration will close on Friday, March 31st, 2023. Walk-in registrations will have an additional charge of $10. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ENTRY FEES Registration: $35 Additional Event Fee: $10 Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or checks. Please make all checks payable to "Fencing Club at UT." ------------------------------------------------------------------------- MORE INFORMATION Current USA Fencing Competitive, Access, Coach, or Collegiate Competitive memberships are required to compete. All USA Fencing rules regarding equipment will be enforced. We will be checking masks and gloves. All fencers competing in the sabre events must have an 800N FIE approved glove to compete. FOOD AND DRINK: NO food and drinks are allowed in the TRECS gym with the exception of water. This is the policy of the facility and it will be strictly enforced. PARKING AND VENUE: On the weekends there is free parking in the Student Aquatic Center lot next to the venue. There is also free street parking along Volunteer Boulevard as well as the parking lot in front of the Haslam Music Center. The Music Building lot is a little walking distance to the venue.
