In anticipation of the 2024 Solar Eclipse to travel across our northern hemisphere (https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/future-eclipses/eclipse-2024/where-when/), the IUP Fencing Club invites you to our Solar Blade Showdown Division III Foil and Epee competition.

IUP Is located approximately 75 minutes east of Pittsburgh.

We have sprung wood floors, locker rooms and showers.

For those interested in coming out the night before the competition, there is a (relatively) new Hilton Garden Inn approximately 1000 feet from the venue.

There is a GOOD coffee house (Commonplace Coffee) about two blocks away that sells coffee and light sandwiches/baked goods.

Finally, there are a number of nice restaurants along Philadelphia street for after the competition (I recommend the PanAsia Cafe, and Benjamins)
